Was a very last minute booking and the location was close enough to the city centre to allow for a walk or short taxi ride
The gentleman at reception did not greet us in any way, only to confirm our names for the reservation. He then tried to charge us more than the actual room rate which was only stopped when queried. For dinner they advertise that they have a "Sister restaurant" who would deliver a set meal for 2, we took advantage of this, but when the delivery arrived the price was wrong and the hotel wanted nothing to do with it. The room itself had a faulty radiator that rattled and made noise all night, there seemed to be a ventilation system that also came on all night. The TV didn't work, they started hoovering outside the door at 9am and breakfast was merely a few bowls of cereal and some bread for toast.. not the most pleasant experience

The location of this hotel is excellent for both exploring the city and catching an early morning flight from the nearby airport. It's just a short walk to the city center, making it easy to enjoy the sights and attractions of Edinburgh. Additionally, the Airlink shuttle conveniently stops right outside the hotel, providing a great transportation link for travelers.
No significant issues or all was satisfactory.

The location of Iholiday Hotel was excellent, just a few minutes away from the city center by car or bus. The public transport connection was also very convenient, with an airport bus stop right in front of the hotel and a tram and train station just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and had a nice Indian/colonial style.

The decor is very unusual and the view was great
The bed was extremely sqeaky and uncorfortable. It made so much noise when you moved, it woke me up several times. The fire alarm went of several times in the morning.

Comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a lovely Indian-inspired atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay at Iholiday Hotel. The apartment was cozy and we felt right at home. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends. a great experience.

The Indian decor and theme was good.
I would have liked the breakfast to be a full English breakfast or typically Indian breakfast in an hotel with an Indian decor and theme. The hotel had no cooking facilities, so food had to be ordered from their restaurant 5 miles away and they added delivery charges to the orders from the hotel. Delivery charges should not be added if the orders are from their own hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were affordable, especially considering the convenient location close to the city center and bus stop. The staff were attentive and provided basic amenities in the rooms, including comfortable beds. The breakfast, although limited in options, did include jam which was a nice touch.
The only minor issue was the rough towels.

It is clean, comfortable room and very near Haymarket rail station. Staff very friendly. Breakfast even basic, but I like it.
The Bell in the front door of the hotel may not working. The front door of the hotel was locked in one of the raining morning, my husband and I press more than 5 times but no one open the door for us.
